Poetry London Competition 2009 Winners announced

The winners of the Poetry London Competition 2009 were announced at the autumn launch of Poetry London at Foyles, Charing Cross Rd, London on Wednesday 14 October.

First Prize: Judy Brown for 'Letter to My Optician'
Second Prize: Howard Wright for 'Moyle'
Third Prize: Gerard Lee for 'Fodder'

Commendations go to:
Matthew Caley for 'Nag'
Josh Ekroy for 'At the end of the day'
Nell Farrell for 'Dead Mouse Poem'
Julian Stannard for 'The Blessing of the Octopus at Lerici'
